No matter where you go, you will always come across it. It is something that has been in this world since the beginning of time, and almost everybody celebrates it differently, even not practicing it or having a religion is being a part of religion almost.
There are so many different types of religions groups out there that somebody that isn't completely into religion knows probably nothing about the other religions. Take for example, if you go to wikipedia and look at the Major Religious Groups you end up finding a list of approx 19 different religions, most of which I've never even heard of and some I don't think I could even figure out how to pronounce.
I personally do not really practice any religion, and feel that you don't have to go to church if you chose not too, but feel that everybody should believe. I believe in god, or atleast some sort of a higher power, but I have not been to a religious service (not counting weddings) in probably 9 years.
I have recently been thinking about going to religious services, because I have this feeling that it is time for me to possibly be practicing a religion more in depth, plus I think that it might be a good learning experience for my children, who the oldest is the only one that has been to church and that was probably 2 years ago, so even he probably doesn't remember much from it. I would like for them to decide if they would like to practice. I just wish it was easier to go around and be able to check out the different religions like Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism with out having to actually going to each service. Sometimes I don't like going to services, because there is always somebody there that will just seem to try and put all their beliefs on you and try to make you convert within the first 5 minutes.
I just don't know. I'm sure at some point I will decided more, but I just don't think that will be right now.
