Preview: #SportingKC – Union 23jun12
This match really interest me much like the game against Toronto FC because this is another team that has not done very well to start the season and in fact have not won a match since late April but the Union are at home and they are sure to do everything they can to upset one of the top teams in MLS right now. Sporting on the other hand will most likely play it safe again much like they did against Seattle, but don't look at them to play it safe once they get on the pitch. When I say play it safe I am meaning that they will most likely go with much of their reserve squad again in yet another test of Sporting's depth and give a good portion of the starters a break or very limited playing time in order to rest them up for the US Open Cup game on Tuesday followed by a Friday rivalry match up against the Chicago Fire. I would like to think that if Sporting plays like they did against Seattle then they should easily win. That is unless the defense continues to play like they pretty much have in which case their luck will run out and if they don't get bitten in the ass on this match then they will surely get beat up throughly either Tuesday against a non-MLS team and getting themselves knocked out of the playoffs or lose to the Chicago Fire on Friday. Neither of which a Sporting KC fan would prefer to see.
