If you haven't been able to tell yet. I'm a huge geek when it comes to gadgets and electronic toys. Some months ago I came across this cool charging device called the PowerMat.
The powermat allows you to charge most of your devices wirelessly. That's right you can actually charge, lets say your iPhone without actually plugging it in. How does this work? Simple, duh! Just kidding. you get a case to your device (limited to certain items right now) that has a special nonnector integrated into the case that allows you to just set down your device in one of the magnetic spaces and BOOM! Well not boom, but instantly your device starts charging. you can even go as far as to hook the powermat to your computer and your devices will even sync to your computer. What about my devices that I can't get/afford a case for? The powermat comes with a small corded adapter that allows you to connect several different devices (seperately) to and the cord is attached to a special magnetic adapter that you can again just place in one of the charging spots and your non-powermat cased device will then begin charging.
Overall I think this is aa really cool peice of equipment and it may seem pretty expensive, but I think it would be worth it, especially since I seem to keep going through iPod cords somehow.
