Man of the Match: Sporting KC – Vancouver Whitecaps
This game had this player probably working more in this match then he had in all the other matches combined so far. Nielsen was even forced to make a save against his own team as apparently Sinovic didn't think Nielsen had enough of a challenge and took a shot at his own goal. Now it wasn't actually a shot, but it was a really bad pass, but it just goes to show how ready Nielsen is to get into the action.
Nielsen hasn't been called upon much this season, but when he has been needed he has proven why he is the captain and becoming one of the top goalkeepers in the MLS.
