57/100 Cruises

A couple years ago my wife and I were able to get away from the kids for a whole 5 days and although it cost way more then we would spend now or really even have for that matter, went on a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas.

I must say it was probably the funnest (so what!) vacation I have been on, and possibly at the rate I'm going, will ever be on. Yes even better then the 13-week summer vactation I had in San Diego, to those who may know me (Boot Camp to those who don't know me.)

Most vacations you have to plan where your going to go, how much you will need at each location, et. You all know what I'm talking about. Going on a cruise all you have to do minimally is find a way to get to the ship, and pay to go on the cruise. After that you can technically or at least should be able to do pretty much whatever you want on the boat for virtually no extra cost. Now some things will cost you extra, but my wife and I were able to only spend maybe $50 while on the boat and that was for ice cream one night and to visit the casino the last night, but we easily could of spent NO money while on the boat. Now when you get off the boat, that can turn into a whole different story.

I started this post wanting to talk about how cool cruises are and turned it to how much we spent, but I guess that is also cool, besides the airline tickets. Anyway if you get a chance to go on a cruise and can afford it. GO ON A CRUISE!
