12/100 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo

Or E3 as most call it, is a video gamers dream vacation. At least in my opinion.

If your a big gamer, and possibly not even a big game, but at least a casual gamer, or might even have a kid(s) that love playing a video games, then this is something that you should probably check out.

Every year E3 is held in LA to promote any upcoming video game and/or console releases/developments. This year is said to become the largest one ever because of all the titles that are scheduled to be doing demonstrations at the expo. What could possibly be so exciting about this you might ask, and I ask you if you ever get excited about a movie trailer. Like take any of the Twilight movies for example. I don't think I've seen such excitment for a 30-60 second trailer. That is except when it comes to video games. Granted I don't think there is as much screaming as there is for Twilight, but I'm getting off track here.

The reason that this year should be exciting is because of quite a few games that have been pretty much promoting themselves since last year. What games you might ask, well here is a small list:

Sid Meier's Civilization V
Call of Duty: Black Ops
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock
DJ Hero 2
Fallout: New Vegas
Toy Story 3: The Video Game
Dead Space 2
Madden NFL 11
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
Metal Gear Solid: Rising
Lego Star Wars III
The Force Unleashed II (Star Wars)
Gears of War 3
Halo: Reach
Rock Band 3
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Star Fox: ReLaunch
Crazy Taxi
Gran Turismo 5
LittleBigPlanet 2
Saints Row 3
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2
Portal 2
Batman: The Brave and the Bold
Batman: Arkham Asylum 2
F.E.A.R. 3
Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4
Mortal Kombat

And that is only about half the games that are suppose to be featured this year. So if you have G4 (a television station) make sure your checking it out or at least get on youtube if you have the internet at home (because I don't, and youtube is blocked at most people's work) and watch some of the stuff that should be coming out in the next year.
