Seems like this is pretty much something I just wrote about last week? Kind of like I am having Deja Vu? Oh yeah that's right they did play each other last week. Well the Comets and Blast did provide a highly entertaining game this time for the whole game instead of like last week where a team was down by a considerable amount while the other team had a complete meltdown. But that isn't the game we are talking about now.
Simply put this entire game was actually pretty good. Score wasn't ever really that close except for only a few times but both teams played really good and had the losing team played any where else then they could of possibly had a win instead of a loss.
I mentioned that the game was good but at the same time there was definitely bad plays and most of them by Missouri. Mostly in defense but I'll save that for later. The Blast actually had a few bad plays that really allowed Missoursi to be able to stay in the game up until the last couple of minutes when the Blast had a couple good/lucky plays and goals to run away with it at the end.
The Comets defense was less then spectacular. They let the Blast drive at the goal and get behind them way to much. The GK can only do so much, and for the most part this season the defense has been pretty reliable with only a couple slip up here and there. This game was actually quite the opposite. They struggled most of the game with a few good spells of play. Those few spells though helped keep the Comets in the game until late when the Blast were able to get a couple added goals including a three point goal from extreme long range and secure the victory.
